Why teams look for an Accelo alternative
Accelo connects the commercial side of client work to the delivery side. A quote becomes a project, a retainer renews on schedule, a support ticket carries its hours, and all of it ends on an invoice. For established firms with settled processes, that chain is the point. PLYNTUM vs Accelo covers the head-to-head. Teams that look elsewhere usually give one of these reasons.
- No published price and no trial. Accelo’s pricing page says the price depends on team size and growth goals and offers a demo or a quote; no plan names, seat minimum or trial are published (read 14 September 2026). You find out the cost after the sales process, not before.
- Configuration before value. Quotes, retainer periods, ticket queues and contract rules each need setting up. Firms that mainly run projects, time and invoices spend that effort on parts they do not use.
- The CRM question. Accelo’s marketing leads with HubSpot and Salesforce integrations. If you do not use either, part of the design assumes a system you do not have.
- The language. We found no Georgian interface in Accelo’s published information. PLYNTUM works in Georgian and English.
If quotes and contracts drive your margin today, most tools on this list are a step down on the commercial side, PLYNTUM included: its quoting and sales CRM are planned, not available.
How to choose an Accelo alternative
List what you use Accelo for in a normal month, then match the tool to that list.
- Quotes. If every job starts with a quote, Scoro and Function Point quote and Productive runs a pipeline. PLYNTUM does not quote yet.
- Retainers. Most tools can invoice a fixed monthly fee. Fewer track the hours used against it. In PLYNTUM, recurring invoices and approved hours per client are on Core.
- Tickets. Accelo’s tickets are a light service desk. If you run real support queues with SLAs, keep a help-desk tool; none of the lighter options replaces one.
- Contracts. Accelo manages contract periods and renewals. In PLYNTUM, renewal workflows are on Scale.
- Price visibility. If the reason to leave is that you could not check the cost, choose a tool that publishes it. Kantata does not either.
Prices are the vendors’ own, read 14 September 2026, excluding tax, on annual billing unless stated; 10-person costs are arithmetic, not quotes. Nothing is ranked, and PLYNTUM, which we make, has its own section.
Seven Accelo alternatives
Productive
Productive is agency software for resources, projects and finances, with a sales pipeline that turns deals into budgets. It is the closest published-price option for a firm that sells as well as delivers.
Professional is $25 per user a month billed annually ($29 monthly), $250 for 10 users, with a 3-seat minimum and a 14-day trial (read 14 September 2026). The interface is in English only. PLYNTUM vs Productive · Productive alternatives
Best for: agencies and consultancies that want a pipeline and budgets at a published price.
Scoro
Scoro is one platform for projects, resourcing and finances, with quoting, a sales CRM, and quoted-versus-actual and work-in-progress reports. On the quote-to-invoice chain it is the nearest match to Accelo.
It sells app combinations from €15 to €52 per user a month with a 5-user minimum; onboarding and add-ons are extra (read 14 September 2026). PLYNTUM vs Scoro · Scoro alternatives
Best for: firms that quote every job and manage margin against the quote.
Kantata
Kantata, formerly Mavenlink, is PSA for larger services organisations, strong on resource forecasting and skills matching. It is a step up in scale from Accelo rather than a step sideways.
It publishes no price (read 14 September 2026), so the cost is as hard to check as Accelo’s. PLYNTUM vs Kantata · Kantata alternatives
Best for: larger organisations that forecast resources and staff by skill.
Teamwork.com
Teamwork.com is professional services software for client projects, resources and financials. Accelerate is $24.99 per user a month billed annually, $249.90 for 10 users, with a free plan for up to 5 users and a 14-day trial (read 14 September 2026).
It covers client projects, time and budgets with far less set-up. Check how it handles retainers before you move them. PLYNTUM vs Teamwork.com
Best for: client-services teams that want a published price and a free plan to start on.
Function Point
Function Point is agency management software for creative and marketing agencies, with estimates, proposals, batch invoicing and role-based forecasting. Standardize is $53 per user a month billed annually ($58 monthly), plus an onboarding fee (read 14 September 2026).
For an agency that liked Accelo’s estimate-to-invoice chain, it is the specialist option with a published price. PLYNTUM vs Function Point
Best for: creative and marketing agencies that estimate every job.
Workamajig
Workamajig is all-in-one agency management with projects, CRM and full accounting, including a general ledger. It is $49 per user a month on monthly billing, with a 10-user minimum and a stated 2–3 month implementation (read 14 September 2026).
It goes further than Accelo on accounting, and asks for a similar commitment. PLYNTUM vs Workamajig
Best for: agencies of 10 or more that want accounting and projects in one system.
Paymo
Paymo is work management with time tracking and invoicing for small teams and freelancers. Plus is $15.90 per user a month at the standard monthly price, $159 for 10 users, with a free plan for one user and a 15-day trial (read 14 September 2026).
It has no quoting, retainers or contracts in Accelo’s sense; it is the choice when you want to drop that layer entirely. PLYNTUM vs Paymo
Best for: small teams that want tasks, time and invoices with little set-up.
Where PLYNTUM fits, and where it does not
What it covers
PLYNTUM is business management software for service companies. Projects and tasks, clients, people, recorded time, invoices, expenses and receivables sit in one workspace. See client and project management for how the client record works.
- Retainers. From Core, a recurring invoice bills the monthly fee and approved hours show what the client used against it. Whether unused hours roll over is a rule you write into the agreement.
- Requests instead of tickets. Requests and approvals give each client request an owner, a decision and a route into delivery. It is not a help desk with SLAs.
- Profit per client. From Core, approved hours become cost at each person’s loaded rate and sit next to invoices and expenses on the same client.
The price in numbers
PLYNTUM prices a workspace with its members included: Launch is $55 a month for 5 members, Core $150 for 10 ($120 a month billed annually), Scale $450 for 25 ($360 billed annually). Launch comes with a 7-day free trial you start yourself, without a demo. See PLYNTUM pricing.
What is missing
No quotes, no sales pipeline and no CRM integrations today; renewal workflows start on Scale; and there is no importer for Accelo data. If those gaps matter more than the price, Scoro or Productive is the better next step.
When to stay with Accelo
- Quotes drive the business. If jobs, budgets and invoices all start from an accepted quote, Accelo does that today and PLYNTUM does not.
- Your CRM is HubSpot or Salesforce. Accelo is built to sit behind them; moving delivery elsewhere breaks that link.
- Tickets are billed. If support tickets carry billable hours into invoices, check each alternative on that exact flow before you move.
- You are mid-contract. Wait for the renewal date rather than paying twice.
Moving from Accelo
PLYNTUM has no Accelo importer, so the move is exports plus set-up.
- Export before you cancel. Clients and contacts, active projects, retainer terms, time entries, rates and unpaid invoices.
- Keep quotes and contracts as files. Save accepted quotes and signed agreements on the client in PLYNTUM, so the terms stay next to the work.
- Rebuild retainers first. Set up each retainer client with its recurring invoice and a project for the month’s work, then check the first month’s hours against the fee.
- Run both for one billing cycle. Invoice from PLYNTUM once its totals match Accelo’s for the same month.
Try one real client on Launch’s 7-day trial first; approvals, recurring invoices and the client portal need Core. For help planning the move, write to us.
