plyntum.com · Free invoice generator
Writing every invoice from scratch? In PLYNTUM you create invoices on the client they belong to, on every plan, in GEL, USD or EUR. You share them by link or print them, and receivables show which are unpaid and for how long. Recurring invoices start on Core.
How to create an invoice
- Fill in your details. Your name or company, a tax or registration number, your address, and the bank and account the client pays into. The generator keeps nothing, so if you invoice often, the invoice template keeps your details in a file.
- Add the client. Use the legal name, number and billing address the client gave you.
- Give the invoice the next number. Numbers run in order, with no gaps and no reuse: 2026-014 comes after 2026-013.
- Check the dates. The issue date starts as today and the due date as 14 days later. Change either to match the terms you agreed.
- Write one line per piece of work. Enter a description, a quantity and a unit price; the amount works itself out. Decimals take a dot or a comma: 1.5 and 1,5 are the same. For thousands, write 1500 or 1,500.
- Choose the currency and the VAT rate. GEL, USD or EUR; VAT at 0% or 18% for the whole invoice.
- Print or save as PDF. The button opens your browser’s print window; to get a file, choose to save as PDF instead of a printer. Send the PDF, not an editable file, so the numbers cannot change on the way.
How the totals are worked out
Each line’s amount is the quantity times the unit price, rounded to two decimals, with a half rounded up: 0.495 becomes 0.50 and 0.494 becomes 0.49. With VAT at 18%, each line’s VAT is 18% of its amount, rounded the same way. The subtotal, the VAT and the total due add up the rounded lines, so the lines on the page always add up to the totals.
An example: 12 hours of homepage design at 80 is 960.00, with VAT of 172.80; a stock-photo licence, 1 at 150, is 150.00, with VAT of 27.00. The invoice shows a subtotal of 1,110.00, VAT of 199.80 and 1,309.80 due.
The generator offers 0% and 18% because 18% is the standard VAT rate in Georgia. If you charge another rate, the invoice template has a tax-rate cell you can edit.
What the invoice shows
- Header: the invoice number, issue date, due date and currency.
- From and Bill to: each side’s name, tax or registration number and address, and your bank and account.
- Lines: description, quantity, unit price and amount; with VAT at 18%, each line’s VAT and total too.
- Totals: subtotal, VAT and total due, in the invoice currency.
- Notes: payment terms, a purchase order number or a thank-you.
The page is A4. As on the site’s other templates, the PLYNTUM logo sits in the top corner and the footer reads “plyntum.com · Free invoice generator”. The invoice is in the language of this page; the Georgian version of the page makes a Georgian invoice. If you need a unit column (hours, days, items) or a different VAT rate per line, use the invoice template.
Your data stays in your browser
The generator runs in this page. What you type is not sent to PLYNTUM or anyone else and is not saved: reloading or closing the page clears the form, so print or save the PDF before you leave. If you have allowed measurement, the site counts that the generator was used, without anything you typed into it.
An invoice is not a tax invoice
This is a commercial invoice: a request for payment that any seller can send. Tax rules differ by country, and a VAT invoice can have requirements beyond this page, such as set wording or an official electronic system. In Georgia, a VAT payer issues the tax invoice electronically on rs.ge where the law requires one; the generator’s invoice does not replace it. Which rate and which documents apply to you is a question for your accountant.
This page is not tax or legal advice.
When you send invoices every month
The generator makes one invoice at a time and keeps nothing. When invoices go out every month, the hard part is no longer the layout: it is knowing which ones have been paid.
In PLYNTUM, invoices and receivables sit in the same workspace as clients, projects and logged time:
- You create invoices on the client they belong to, on every plan, in GEL, USD or EUR, and write the lines yourself or, from Core, draft them from approved time.
- Each invoice can be shared with the client by link, printed or saved as a PDF, and emailed from PLYNTUM once the workspace’s email sending is set up.
- You record payments against invoices, and receivables show which invoices are unpaid and for how long.
- Recurring invoices, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly, start on Core: $150 a month for 10 members, or $120 a month billed annually.
PLYNTUM does not collect payments online and is not accounting software: it files nothing with RS.ge, and it exports invoices, payments and expenses as CSV for your accountant. Launch costs $55 a month for 5 members, with a 7-day free trial. See time and billing software for how time and invoices work together, and pricing for the plans.
