What is saved. What you control.

See what the browser saves for your scan, preferences and optional measurement, and how to manage each.

Saved assessment

plynt.website.scan.v1 holds scan answers, optional context and the current step in local storage. The setup checklist on Plan your move keeps its ticked steps under plynt.website.setup.v1. The website sets no automatic expiry for either. Clear & restart on the scan and Clear checklist on the setup page reset them; browser site-data controls can remove them. Language is carried in the page URL.

Measurement preference

plynt.website.measurement.v1 remembers an allow/decline choice in local storage with 180-day validity. Validity is checked when the preference loads; the entry may remain until changed or cleared. No optional measurement starts without permission. Browser Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals disable this measurement and the question is not shown. Measurement preferences, at the bottom of every page, opens the choice again.

Flow identifiers

plynt.website.flow.v1 uses session storage after opt-in to relate predefined events and avoid duplicates. A flow expires after 30 minutes of inactivity; the next measured interaction starts a new flow, including in an already open tab. Only a still-valid saved flow is restored. Expiry does not itself guarantee physical removal of the stored entry at that exact time. The random identifier is pseudonymous and may be linked to a submitted demo request. No scan answers, scores, business figures or free text are included in event fields. plynt.website.flows.v1 lists the flow identifiers this browser used in the last 90 days, so that a later withdrawal can ask the server to delete their events.

Withdrawal and retry

plynt.website.withdrawals.v1 keeps only pending flow identifiers and expiry times in local storage, with up to 90-day retry validity from the withdrawal request. An entry is removed after the server confirms cleanup. Declining stops new optional events locally immediately. If cleanup cannot be confirmed, the website shows a retry option. This queue supports your removal request; it does not permit further measurement and contains no contact text, scan answers or scores. Clearing browser data first can remove identifiers needed to locate earlier events.

Server records and other services

Browser storage is separate from contact requests and analytics records held on the website server. The website’s retention periods are 30 days for contact requests and 90 days for analytics events. Expired website database records are removed by daily cleanup. Read Website privacy for deletion scope and separate Resend delivery, email correspondence, backup and infrastructure records. Application sign-in and Paddle checkout have their own storage and privacy notices; clearing data for plyntum.com does not delete an application account or cancel a subscription.

Your controls

Declining measurement does not block the scan or demo form. Blocking browser storage can prevent restoration of progress or preferences. Clearing local storage does not remove submitted requests or exported copies. External websites and email applications have their own storage practices. Questions: info@plyntum.com .

Google Analytics (only if you allow measurement)

When you allow measurement, the website also loads Google Tag Manager, which runs Google Analytics 4 in Consent Mode. Nothing from Google loads before you allow it, or at all when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<id> for up to two years to tell visits apart, and receives the page address, the referring page and a general device and browser description. It does not store IP addresses. The same scan and form exclusions apply: no answers, scores, figures or typed text are sent. Google processes this data for us under Google’s data processing terms and may process it outside Georgia. Turning measurement off stops the tags on the next page and switches analytics storage to denied; you can delete existing _ga cookies in your browser settings.
