A month of client work in Productive and PLYNTUM
- Week 1: a new client signs. In Productive the deal moves from the pipeline into a project, because the CRM is on every plan. PLYNTUM has CRM contacts, organizations, opportunities and manual follow-ups for eligible users; won-deal handoff starts with Core and requires permission.
- Weeks 2–4: the team logs time. Both tools track time on every plan. In Productive, time approvals start on Professional, and submitting timesheets and locking time are on Ultimate; in PLYNTUM the manager approves timesheets from Core, which locks each approved week, and project cost counts all logged time.
- Month end: the invoice goes out. Both invoice on every plan. The difference is the software bill: ten Productive Professional users cost $250 a month, PLYNTUM Core for ten members $120, both on annual billing.

Before you switch
Move one active client and its projects first, then compare a month of time and invoices side by side. If you rely on Productive’s pipeline, compare pipeline limits first: PLYNTUM’s CRM core covers contacts, organizations, opportunities and a sales pipeline for eligible users, while inbox channels are a separate rollout and proposals are not emailed to clients yet.
