- If the team needs task coordination only, without finance, Asana’s task features may be all it needs.
- Workload on Advanced and capacity planning on Enterprise.
- Unlimited free guests on every plan.
Where PLYNTUM fits better
- Invoices, expenses, receivables and the 13-week cash flow overview are included. Asana’s pricing page does not list them.
- Manager timesheet approvals start with Core. In Asana they require the Timesheets & Budgets add-on.
- A flat price per workspace and a Georgian interface.
A month of client work in Asana and PLYNTUM
- Week 1: tasks. Asana is strong here, and a team that only coordinates tasks may need nothing else. PLYNTUM covers tasks too; its point is the time and cost behind them.
- Weeks 2–4: time. Asana tracks time on Advanced and Enterprise; approval needs the Timesheets & Budgets add-on, sold per user with no published price. PLYNTUM tracks time on every plan and approves timesheets from Core.
- Month end: Asana’s pricing page lists no invoices or expenses, so the invoice is written elsewhere. In PLYNTUM, from Core, approved, billable hours can be drafted into an invoice, and invoices feed the receivable and the 13-week cash flow overview.
