The short answer
At 25 people the pricing model decides most of the bill. PLYNTUM Scale is $360 a month billed annually for up to 25 members: $14.40 a person. A per-seat agency tool at $25 a user costs $625. Lighter per-seat tools cost more than Scale at this size too: monday.com Pro is $475 for 25 seats and Paymo Pro $422.50. The entry plans of the agency tools cost less: Productive Essential is $250 and Teamwork.com Basics $249.75, with fewer features than their higher plans.
Cost for 25 people, tool by tool
List prices billed annually, shown per month, before tax (checked 25 September 2026), unless the row says otherwise. Where a vendor has a seat minimum, the table bills the minimum. “Approval” means a manager approves timesheets on that plan, as the vendor’s pricing page states it. - Workamajig prices are per user on monthly billing. Paying a year upfront makes one month free, which gives the prepaid figure: 11 ÷ 12 of the monthly bill.
- monday.com: seats are sold from 3; monday.com’s seat picker sets the exact sizes, so confirm the seat count at checkout. The figure is for exactly 25 seats.
- Asana: its own pages disagree on which plans can buy Timesheets & Budgets. The add-on page lists Starter and above; the add-on card on the pricing page says Enterprise. The figure assumes the add-on can be bought with Advanced, so confirm with Asana.
- Harvest bills some usage, such as additional invoices, projects, clients and tasks, by use. The amounts are not on Harvest’s pricing page, so the Harvest figures here exclude them.
The arithmetic
- Per seat: 25 × $24.99 = $624.75 a month, or $7,497 a year, on Teamwork.com Accelerate. 25 × $25 = $625 on Productive Professional.
- Per workspace: $360 a month, or $4,320 a year, on PLYNTUM Scale. The difference against a $25 seat is $265 a month, or $3,180 a year.
- Below 25: from 11 to 14 people a $25 seat is cheaper than Scale. The 15-person comparison shows where the two cross.
- The 26th member moves PLYNTUM to Intelligence, which covers up to 50 members for $840 a month billed annually. At 26 people a $25 seat costs $650, so from 26 to 33 people the per-seat tool is cheaper again, and from 34 people Intelligence is cheaper.
When another option fits better at 25 people
- You need accounting in the same system. Workamajig includes a general ledger. PLYNTUM is not accounting software.
- You staff by skill across many projects. Enterprise PSA tools such as Kantata, which publishes no price, go deeper on resource forecasting. See the Kantata alternatives.
